The Lafayette, Indiana, Pickleball Association (LIPA) is a 501(c)3 organization striving to provide a healthy, recreational activity for all ages in our community. Since regular exercise is one of the best ways to keep both the mind and body fit, Pickleball is a fun, social way to exercise.
Did you know that Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States? It’s a fun and challenging sport that is played like a big game of ping pong, on a badminton sized court, with a tennis net; and it attracts players from all ages and abilities. In Tippecanoe County alone, the number of players has rapidly increased as the popularity of the sport reaches not only the baby boomers but our working class, young adults, and even our youth. We currently have over 400 members ranging in age from 19 to over 80.
According to AARP, every 7 seconds someone in America turns 50. Mature consumers seek products, services, and activities that complement their desire to live life to the fullest. McCaw Park has 26 Pickleball courts that average 5 players per court. During the summer, the courts are full in the morning and in the evenings with players of all ages.
On August 29-30, 2026, LIPA will be hosting its 7th annual Survivor Pickleball Tournament. We’re seeking monetary or in-kind donations from sponsors to help cover the cost of the tournament. Donations help us keep registration fees reasonable and the money left over allows LIPA to provide free Beginner Pickleball clinics, keep our membership dues affordable, and provide pickleballs that the park community uses.
Since LIPA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization all donations are receptible and tax deductible. See our sponsorship levels and benefits below.
Thank you for considering our tournament and please contact me for a sponsorship form or with any questions you may have.
Enjoy the Pickleball experience!
