Thank you for checking out our volunteer opportunities for the 2026 SURVIVOR pickleball tournament.

With the potential for over 300 players expected to compete in the tournament, your services as a volunteer are critical to helping make the Survivor Pickleball Tournament a truly special event.

  • Each volunteer who signs up will receive a $10 coupon to use during the day at Yo-Bo Bap Korean Fusion Food Truck which will be onsite for the tournament.
  • Volunteers who do not have a volunteer shirt will receive a gold volunteer shirt if signed up before we order shirts.  (August 10th deadline)
  • All volunteer names will go into a drawing for gift cards after the tournament.  Volunteers get their name in for each shift they work and drawings will be for those who work on Saturday and again for those who work on Sunday.

Volunteer job descriptions are listed on the right.  We start setting up at 6am each morning with five-hour shifts throughout the day until the games end each day. (Shift length may vary depending on how many players we have.)  Pod Captains stay with their Pod until those games are completed.

Morning shifts help setup tents and tables and evening shifts help with teardown and cleanup.

If you have questions regarding any volunteer positions or would like assistance, please email SurvivorTD@yahoo.com.

Thank you for your consideration.  We look forward to having you as part of the LIPA tournament team!

Cheryl Parker

Tournament Director

You don't have to be a member of LIPA to volunteer!
